Assignment instructions:

You must interview the Manager or the Human Resources/Labor Relations employee prior to writing your critical reflection paper. While you are free to ask additional questions, you must ask the following questions:

1. How would you describe your job to someone who was not familiar with this organization?
2. What does a typical week entail for you? What activities take up the majority of your time?
3. Please describe your career and educational path prior to taking this job.
4. What advice would you give to someone who would like to hold this job in the future?
Your critical reflection paper must include the following components:

A description of the job held by the individual you interviewed and the organization that she/he is employed by.
A summary of each of the interview questions you asked, followed by a brief reflection on their answer.
Personal reflection: Based on the answers you received during your interview, would you like to hold this position? Why or why not?
After you have completed your interview, please remember to send the individual you interviewed a note thanking them for their time.

Assignment Details:
You will complete this project and submit a critical reflection paper on your findings. The paper should be 7–10 pages in length (excluding any reference pages), double spaced, use Times New Roman font, use 1-inch margins, and be numbered on each page. You may use the text and other outside sources, though you are not required to do so. If you choose to use any sources to support your arguments, please ensure that you cite each appropriately. All in-text citations and the reference page should follow American Psychological Association (APA) style (6th edition) formatting guidelines.
