For example, an effective budget, nonprofit and budgeting culture, nonprofit and increasing bottom line, does generational equity matters for nonprofit, how do prepare for turbulent times, performance measurement and nonprofits outcomes, maximizing internal controls, increased financial oversight/accountability, nonprofit and endowment, nonprofit and cashflows, double bottom lines: balancing the mission and finances, assets managements, nonprofits, and overhead costs, managing a deficit, minimum wage on nonprofits, etc
The topic should be tailored to your individual learning goals, but whatever you choose to do, should develop your skills and knowledge of the financial management of nonprofits. This assignment should reflect advanced undergraduate level work. It should meet the objectives of the course and demonstrate some creativity and originality. The topic can focus on different aspects of financial management for nonprofit. For instance, nonprofit financial sustainability, effective internal controls, evaluating the financial health of nonprofit, effective financial performance measurements, etc.
The introduction of the paper should have the specific issue discussed or the central argument/thesis accompanied by the research question. A good paper should have a scope and limitations of its argument
The body should have an in-depth discussion of the points supporting or challenging the thesis. Each point should be well-argued and supported by relevant sources and data. Any new findings should be discussed within a framework. This section simply should demonstrate that a student has a good grasp of theoretical and conceptual understanding of the issue (s) being discussed or researched.
