You must answer Question 1 and one of the questions that fall under Question 2 (one of a, b, c, etc.) (each question is worth 50% of your final test grade):
1) With reference to “Teaching Ethical Decision Making,” imagine you had to teach a one hour seminar on “teaching ethical decision making to a group of employees over whom you have some authority. (i) Describe the hypothetical business/organization, the kinds of employees working, and your role. (iii) Justify (by means of premises and inferential reasoning to a conclusion) your reasoning for why your plan for attempting to practice/instil honesty in each of the three hypothetical situations is a good method. (iv) Anticipate problems with each of the three plans for each of the three scenarios. *The same instructions and grading rubric/suggestions for writing Test 1 are applicable for Test 2.
*The test is due November 10 at 11:59pm, sent as a Word doc attachment to either abigail.klassen@gmail.com or ab.klassen@uwinnipeg.ca
*The title of your Word doc attachment must take the following form or your test will be sent back and you will be asked to properly title the attachment – “Moral Issues in Business_Test 2_your name as it appears on your student card”
*Though there are only two test questions, imagine that the test is to be written over one hour and fifteen minutes in class, on a computer. Also imagine that you will have had more than one week with the test questions and can bring in notes to write over an hour and fifteen minutes. Use this hypothetical scenario to judge how much you could write and how good the content should be. There is no minimum or maximum number of pages that this test should be. REMEMBER TO ANSWER ALL PARTS OF THE “QUESTION” AND USE MY SUB-NUMBERING SYSTEM WITHIN YOUR SUBMITTED TEST TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE ANSWERED ALL PARTS OF THE “QUESTION” AND SO THAT I CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT YOU HAVE ATTEMPTED ALL PARTS OF THE QUESTION. (Actually submit a test that reads for, say, question 2a….
2a) (i) such and such.
(ii) such and such.
(iii) such and such… etc.
