Written Assignment:

This year has presented challenges some people had likely never imagined. It has also disrupted many aspects of everyday life, including the court system.
For your written assignment, you will discuss the impact that Covid-19 has had on the courts. This may include, but is not limited to:
Discussing general information regarding the impact of Covid-19 on the courts.
Discussing specific challenges presented by this situation.
Discussing a specific case or cases that has/have been impacted.
Discussing safety precautions that have been taken to respond to this situation.
Discussing any suggestions you may have for addressing this issue.
Discussing any short-term and/or long-term issues you believe may result from this situation.
Discussing any other aspects of this topic you deem to be important/relevant.
Note: While you may mention civil courts because they have been impacted, please focus most of your attention on criminal courts.

You will also need to find at least two (2) additional sources that discuss the impact of Covid-19 on the courts. These can include online news articles.
As noted above, you can but do NOT have to use the two (2) links I provided. You do, however, need to be sure that you provide at least two (2) sources you have found on your own.
Important notes about formatting:
The assignment needs to be 3-4 pages, typed, double-spaced, 12-inch font (Times New Roman), 1-inch margins.
Include a title page, which should at least include your name, CRCJ 4301, and the date of submission.
Include citations for any source you discuss, including the two sources above if you use them. Be sure to include sources as needed in the text of your assignment to avoid potential plagiarism issues.
The citations included in your assignment (i.e., in-text citations) need to be in APA format. You can reference this link for information on citing in APA format:

Include a list of references to acknowledge any sources you discuss/refer to in your assignment.
Your list of references should also be done in APA format (see above link for guidance).
The assignment needs to be written in complete sentences. In addition, pay attention to spelling, grammar, sentence structure, etc. Please proofread what you have written before posting it.
Additional notes about assignment:
Your assignment needs to be 3-4 pages of content (i.e., your title page and list of references do not count toward your total page count).
