For your last essay, you will compose a minimum 2,000-word research essay . Any essay that does not reach the 2,000-word minimum will not receive a grade above 60%. The essay must follow MLA format and be in third person . It must contain 6 outside sources that are not part of our textbooks . Yes, you may use the textbooks, and I encourage you to do so because the topic will be on morality and heroism, but you need an additional six sources that are found through our library database. You will need to cite all sources with in-text citation and a Works Cited page at the end of the essay. The essay will also need a counter argument and rebuttal. You are arguing for an action to occur in order to produce change in matters of practice or policy You will select a current social issue that society is facing. Alongside the organization you have selected, propose how to go about addressing and resolving the social issue not only for those directly affect by the social injustice but resolving it for society as whole.
