You just graduated from college and decided to start your own web design business. Your task is to build your company page using Dreamweaver. Your company name will be “YourLastname Web Design.”

Your project needs to include:

• A website with a minimum of four different web pages that you designed yourself using Dreamweaver

• Easy navigation between all of the pages you create

• Professional appearance and uniform look for each page of the entire site

• A clickable image map where the hot regions are obvious to the user

• At least three rollovers for professional navigation

You will be graded on:

• Creativity: How well does the website reflect you? Is it unique?

• Information content: Is the information relevant to your site? Is your site interesting? Does the content convey coherent thoughts?

• Website design: How does your text color look on your background? Good design throughout?

• Ease of navigation: Can I find my way around the site easily?

• Text formatting: Is information conveyed easily using headings, tables, lists, etc?

• Graphics and images: Do your images add to your site? (use open source images)

• Completing the minimum requirements completely and correctly

The more time and thought you put into this site, the better your grade. You will not receive a high grade for something that you put together the night before it’s due. You have more than enough skills now to create a fantastic website!
