Part 1 Instructions:
Option 1
Read the questions carefully and write a 750-word to 1000-word essay on ONE of the queries below. Your essay should include names, dates, places, causes, and effects. As well, please write the historical narrative in chronological or sequential order. Always outline your work, as this helps you to remember important events and the way these affairs occurred in time. Option 2
As an alternative to writing one essay in Part 1 and one essay in Part 2, students have the option of writing two essays in this section, thereby bypassing Part 2. Students must still write a 750-word to 1000-word essay for each question they select.
