Real Estate econ project

About the Project: Students are to describe, explain, and predict patterns of prices, supply, and demand. Students will write a 3-page opinion piece on one of the topics listed below. The paper needs to include citations where relevant.

Select one of the following questions for your project:

-Is this a good time buy a house for millennials?

-How has the pandemic affected commercial real estate?

-How will real estate in big cities be affected by COVID-19? Will the suburbs boom again as a result of COVID?

-Which areas of the country will experience price appreciation or depreciation as a result of COVID?

-Where would you buy a house or investment property if you wanted to maximize your appreciation over the next five years.

-How will the rise of remote work from home affect the demand for housing?

One aspect of the project is to have the students get their hands on some real estate data and analyze it.
