Select the artwork you want to recreate and get creative!
You can choose from any period, style, and medium- there are no restrictions, as long as the content is appropriate for class: i.e. NO NUDITY.

STEP 2

Write a brief response to each of the following:

Identify and describe at least three specific things in the original artwork that you’ve learned in this class. General categories to consider include: formal elements, principles of art, content, context, style, and technique. For example, you might identify asymmetrical balance, the Venus pudica pose, and casting.
Explain why you chose this artwork.
Explain your process.

Keep in mind: this assignment should be fun, but it’s not *just* for fun! Really work on the writing because you’re being graded on your ability to make connections to what we’ve learned in this course.

REQUIREMENTS FOR IMAGE:

I can’t stress this enough: NO NUDITY OR INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT
Inappropriate works will be deleted and given a zero
IF you are not in the recreation, you must also include a shot of your face in front of your work. A simple selfie is fine!
I need to verify that it’s your work, not something grabbed from the internet.
