  1. Evaluation of existing literature in the proposed field (1,000 words)

Critically evaluate the context of the research area and any contested terrain. Review the current literature/current practice in the topic of the proposed research with reference to the scholarly literature as appropriate. Not just talk about the stuff that fits your research, you have to highlight if anybody has argued against it. You should always have both sides of the argument.

 

  1. Key aim and objectives (200 words)

Summarise the overall aim of the research, and the key objectives – which should be structured as the main chapters within your research project.

 

  1. Research methodology (600 words)

Describe the research philosophies and methodological approaches, as well as sample, to be used in the proposed research and why they are appropriate to the research objectives. Addressing the secondary research as well. How are you going to go about conducting your lititure view? What kind of of sources are you going to use in your lecture review? Why is it important that you use those sources and not search and other sources. In this section start talking about the literature review first

 

  1. Proposed evaluation and presentation of findings (200 words)

Briefly outline how you will evaluate the data you collect – through graphs etc, Excel pivot tables or SPSS; or thematic analysis if using interviews or focus groups – NVivo possibly? Why is it important to use these data´s and how is the best way to use the data collected. If talking about SPSS, you would have to reference how you know the software does that.

 

  1. Ethical issues (300 words)

Discuss the ethical issues involved and the actions that will be taken to ensure compliance with the guidelines regarding the research, for example confidential and sensitive information.

 

  1. Potential limitations (200 words)

Consider the potential issues in your methodology which may impact on your findings and ultimate conclusions and recommendations. Anything that might mean that your reasearch is not as 100% reliable as you would like to have it.

 

  1. List of References

Include a full list of references of the sources you have cited in your proposal.
