T3 2020: ICT272 Web Design and Development

Assignment 2 – 10%

Due Date: Week 6 – Sunday 13/12/2020 at 11:59pm

Submission:     Submit on Moodle: all files must be uploaded on Moodle as a zipped File. If the file is too large then place it in Google drive and share the link using a word document in Moodle submission.

Presentation:  During Week 6 lab OR submit a word document with explanations and screen shots. You should be able to explain both the design and code for the site.

WEBSITE:

Create an online retail site, listing Products following below guidelines:

It must be created using Visual Studio

• All Pages

• must have a Menu at top using CSS and navigational controls to link to all other pages,
• optional footer section

• Main Page
  • should include some introductory information in paragraph and some promotions for the products
• Products Page
  • Create three categories of products
  • When a user selects a category using a radio button, it should show the related products and their prices. Use the panel control for this purpose
• Contact Us Page
  • Use some basic ASP.net controls to let the users enter some basic information to contact you using a form with textboxes. Also provide a contact information and map to you location

• About Us
  • Must explain the purpose of the website and the explanation of the layout

The website should use HTML and CSS and ASP.net controls only for the Request Demo page:

Layout Must use:

Tables, Images/graphics, Menu (using CSS), several fonts, different headings, Colors etc

Make sure to use proper Spelling and Grammar.
