HLT 324 Personal Training Comparison

For this assignment you will be expected to view a total of four (4) different video’s. These may be selected by you, but they must follow the assignment instructions. Links to the videos must be included in your final report.

Before you select your videos for the completion of the assignment, read over the expectations of the what you are to include in the final reflection paper. Make sure your selected videos will provide the information needed to be successful in this assignment. Review the bullet points below to assure you are able to complete the assignment criteria.

The first two video topics that you will research/view must be personal training sessions. You will watch your selected videos and compare the sessions. One example of a personal training session might be this type of video, follow the link for the first example: Remember you need to evaluate two (2).

Self-Reflection:
Once you have viewed the four videos, you will write a minimum of a 3 page reflection paper in which you will discuss each of the following question:
1. Why did you choose your videos?
2. What did you find most helpful about the learning experience?
3. What did you dislike the most about this learning experience?
4. Describe 2-3 methods of motivation that you learned to use with your future clients?
5. Personal training sales, what are 1-2 methods that you learned, how would you use these methods to approach future gym members? Why did you select these methods?

6. If you did not have the opportunity to experience marketing or sales related tactics, provide a detailed description of methods of sales and marketing that you have learned about from your reading, what methods do you feel are the most beneficial to increasing gym membership and why?
7. In terms of client retention, explain how you plan to retain future personal training clients?
8. What other areas of the experience do you feel is important to reflect upon?
