Data Visualization

You are a data scientist in a large life insurance agency, and have been tasked with providing training to new team members who have joined your department. Your supervisor has asked you to prepare a white paper about data visualization. It should be 3 to 4 pages in length, and adhere to APA guidelines. See below for details on what the paper should cover.

Your white paper should address:

-What is data visualization?
-Context in data visualization
-Choosing the right tool for the job (as in chart type) – what is the most effective style?
-Convey the concept of data visualization noise and the importance of avoiding it
-Visual perception concepts and tips and tricks – Gestalt principles
-Affordance, accessibility, and aesthetics
-At least two visualizations – one effective and one ineffective visualization. For each, explain what works, what doesn’t work, and why. For the visualization that doesn’t work, include ways it could be improved to make it more effective. – I WILL FIND THE GRAPHICS AND COMPLETE THIS SECTION
-Data visualization tools overview, including pros and cons (e.g. Tableau, Excel, Python, R, etc)
-Conclusion/Summary
