Joint mobilty

Select two structures where mobility issues commonly present, based on the joint-by-joint approach. The structures may not be in the same body region (upper extremity, spine, lower extremity).

2. For each structure:

a. Identify the structure with a mobility problem. Describe its normal anatomy.

b. Describe the mobility issue/problem that arises, how it presents, and underlying cause(s) for its development. Use theories of Janda (presented in the Assessment and Treatment of Muscle Imbalance: The Janda Approach textbook) to support your descriptions.

c. Describe a practical method to assess the integrity of the structure’s mobility.
3. Your description of each mobility issue should not exceed 500 words. A minimum of two references (the Assessment and Treatment of Muscle Imbalance textbook and a peer-reviewed journal article) must be used to reference the information presented.
This assignment should be 3-4 pages, excluding title and reference pages.
