1) In the first section you will discuss the significance of interprofessional

collaboration, specifically identify the difference between intra-professional and inter-professional collaboration, What are the roles and responsibilities of this member in the healthcare setting in Ontario? Are they a regulated healthcare provider and, if so, by what body are they regulated by in Ontario ?

2) In this next section, you will examine the foundation of practice for this team

member in the general sense and contrast it with nursing. You will compare and

contrast the essential competencies/standards of practice between nursing and

the chosen healthcare professional in Canada . You will additionally discuss and reflect on

the scope of practice of each of the two professions. Please note that appropriate

citations (2 in total) are expected from the CNO and respective College of the

chosen practitioner. (~1 – 1 , 1/2 pages)

3) In the final section, you will discuss how the roles of the two professions work

together to achieve positive patient outcomes in the general sense. You will need

to obtain >1 scholarly article to support your discussion of the chosen practitioner.
