This can be a power point, a prezi a you-tube presentation, whatever creative endeavor you choose to present. Please include websites and references the faculty and/or parents can refer to for further information.  This assignment must be submitted to the instructor in week seven. Please include a cover page with your paper. This assignment is worth 30 points and will be graded according to the grade’s distribution below and the rubric in Attachment #3.

Topic: Broadly speaking, bullying is an intentional and unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves some kind of a real or perceived imbalance of power. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both children who are bullied and who bully others may have serious lasting problems. Children with special needs may be at higher risk of being bullied. Bullying can include making fun of students because of their disability or their appearance. Although only ten US studies have been conducted on the connection between bullying and developmental disabilities, all of these studies found that children with disabilities were two to three times more likely to be bullied than their nondisabled peers.
