This assignment requires students to identify and evaluate best practices in reentry programming for responding to a specific need/problem among program participants. Students should imagine that they are presenting to policymakers or to the board of a reentry organization. .

The project should include a clear statement and overview of the reentry problem, a critical analysis of current practices, and description of a best practice or model program.

Students should present evidence to support the effectiveness of the best practice.

Remember, the goal is to convince the audience that they should allocate resources to serve the needs of the reentry population.   Slideshows should include a minimum of five slides.

Projects will be graded on content, authenticity and engagement, organization, and conventions. A complete reference list in APA format should be included, with a minimum of eight scholarly sources.
