Here are the directions again and how you will be evaluated.

1. Select your topic reports based on topics you are interested in. For example, if you liked the series Dexter you may want to select a topic on blood splatter.   I have been interested in poison so I would select that for one of my topic reports on some aspect of how killers poison their victims.
2. Make sure that you make it clear how your topic report is linked to the module covering that topic.

3. These are extensive investigations so take some time to think about what you want to spend your time and energy presenting your topic in an entertaining and informative way.

4. This is a mini-research project so you will need to have a number (4-7) of reputable sources that you will cite in your report.

5. An example: Module 1 is on Why we Kill.  You could post topics that related to why we kill.  Topics such as the killing of spouses, spouses killing their children, killing and social class, and the Jon Benet Ramsey murder case are some examples.  However, what you should do what aspects of murder you are most interested in.

The areas of evaluation are:

1. Content: Identify a major topic/theme that is well supported and complete. (20 points)
2. Development: Logical flow of information, organized, and well presented. (15 points)
3. Relevance: Integrates course concepts and supported by evidence from a variety of sources. (20 points)
4. Reference: Numerous (4-7), authoritative, and high-quality sources. (15 points)
5. Creativity: Images and/or graphics and/or video to the best present topic (10 points).
