“Time-1” Assignment (individual):

Now that you’ve completed your first semester/year of internship and are about to embark on your second semester/field placement, it’s a good time to “take stock” of your clinical work. This paper asks you to do just that by considering your work with one former client to answer the questions below. Please be specific in your responses, giving examples from your work to illustrate the points you are making.

Format:

• You do not need a cover page and running head.
• 500 words maximum
• Ifyou cite, then you need APA citations within the text and a reference page (does not count toward word total)
• Use the questions below as headings for your responses. (does not count toward word total)

Questions:

1. Provide a description of your client, including demographics and sociocultural information.
2. State the main problem you and the client agreed to work on. What goal(s) did you set for the resolution of that problem?
3. What intervention(s) did you use to reach the goal(s)?
4. Were you successful in achieving your goal(s) with the client? How do you know?
