Read the two cases assigned for this week on Amazon: Amazon Fresh and Amazon Care. (See attached) We want to make the reflection on the Amazon relevant to project, and ultimately to your reality as a current or future leader in healthcare.

Prepare a presentation that addresses the following three questions:

Within the scope of your SCM project, which areas are ripe for innovation and/or offer greater opportunity for disruption?
Which elements of the traditional business models are most at-risk for an “Amazon style” entrance?
Imagine that Amazon was running the healthcare organizations in your comparison study. What would they change or start as a new initiative? Leverage Amazon’s advantages — which have worked well in areas such as retail — that will translate across healthcare.
