The research proposal will provide students the opportunity to share their research interests and demonstrate their accumulated knowledge of research methods and design. Specifically, students will submit a research proposal of no less than 5-pages. Research proposals will consist of an introduction, literature review, proposed methodology and analytical plan, and summary of implications of the research and contribution to the body of knowledge. Throughout the course, students will submit elements of the research proposal for review and feedback. Students should use the instructor feedback to revise each element at each checkpoint of the proposal. Presentations will be graded on originality, thoroughness, and organization. Research proposals are worth 50 pts. 12pt font, double spaced, Times New Roman.
