Hi! For my AP Government course, we are participating in an online political simulator called “NationStates.” As part of this simulator, we are responsible for drafting multiple UN-style resolutions. These need to be around 500-700 words (can be slightly over/under). They don’t require citations but they require research to regulate a specific subject.

I should note that the site seeks to simulate the UN — the body of nations is called the World Assembly. It does not derive any authority from the UN and the resolutions submitted to it should not reference the UN itself. Having said that, it is perfectly fine to reference past World Assembly resolutions. For the topics that my professor assigned, however, there are very few/if any related resolutions.

For this week, my subject is Promotion of Clean Energy. It can be tackled/written from any angle, but it must abide by the outline layout of resolutions. I have included multiple examples of these here.
