Please complete this AFTER you have read through the lecture portion and have watched the TED talks contained therein.   

Clearly structure your response as follows:  (Yes, I want you to number each section in your response as indicated below.  Sometimes I receive responses that are one giant paragraph.  I do not want that.  There are sometimes I will ask you to format in paragraphs, usually for more formal essays and response papers. For discussion boards, I would like you to develop and organize your responses around the prompts indicated and number them accordingly.  Thanks!) 

1.  Choose and identify any TWO the TED’s for this week and explore how these impacted (see what Anne Curzan has to say about this word!), your thinking through the rest of the prompts.   

2.  Connect these specifically to the lecture content. Include at least TWO lecture concepts that you clearly identify.   Use a different concept for each TED.  

3. What was new, insightful, relevant, thought-provoking to you?  How might any of these concepts apply to your own life and relationships?  How do the words you use create or shape your own life and relationships?
