Each student joined a group and work on a semester long research paper. Students are expected to apply the knowledge learned in class to complete a project and demonstrate proficiency using Information Technology. Deliverable will need to be submitted by only one member of the group in a Microsoft Word document at the end of the semester by the defined deadline.

The information on Team Project Assignment are provided on the D2L and have been discussed in class. The quality of the research paper will be part of the grade for the author. The content and quality are important and will be given due weight when graded.

Technology has a positive impact on many industries over the years but along with the benefits of using technology comes cybercrime. Students will choose one of the following three group research topics:

Topic (1): Explain how Cybercrime has affected large Businesses (i.e. large multinational corporations) and how businesses are currently using Cyber Security to guard against cyber-attacks. Also explain why most small businesses might be at a greater risk for cyber-attacks than large business and provide suggestions for both large and small business on how to utilize Cyber Security to prevent future cyber-attacks.

The expectation number of pages with actual contexts is somewhere between 10-12 pages since it requires in-depth description of your proposed project. Documents should be written by Times New Roman font size 12, double space and no margin larger than 1 inch for each side.

Citation and references are very important and crucial if you use someone else’s work. In general, when you use someone else’s work, you need to make sure to cite the work properly. You may use either MLA style or APA style in your references. Otherwise, it will be considered as PLAGIARISM and will result a grade of ZERO for the group. Your paper should include a minimum of 6 references.
