First, select the Research & Publications section and navigate to the SIOP White Papers section, which contains scholarly papers in each of the major areas of I/O Psychology. Chose and read a paper in one of the areas that interest you.

Next, select the Careers section and navigate to the I-O Career Paths which contains links for the main sectors in which I/O psychologists work. Chose a sector that interests you and explores the associated career paths. Review the Common Job Titles across Sectors. (Links to an external site.)

After exploring these sections on the website, write a thoughtful discussion post , addressing the following (Be specific and thorough.):

• What area of I/O psychology do you find most interesting? Why do you think this is an important area of research in this field? What is its impact on individuals and organizations?
• What sector and career in I/O Psychology do you find most interesting? What is its impact on individuals and organizations? Is this work that you would be interested in pursuing? Why or why not? Your response must include descriptive details about the work of I/O psychologists.
