Week 6 – EQ Competency Symposia –

A series of mini-symposia will be held in several weeks, each focusing on one or more of Bar-On’s fifteen EQ competencies. Week 6 will focus on Impulse Control.

Each student will seek out articles related to the symposium topic and prepare a presentation, covering key points from one to two articles, and the author’s perspective/point of view and conclusions. Include your response to the question, “What are the managerial or individual implications of these findings?” (that is, show how these findings can be applied in the workplace or other areas of one’s life).
