Secondly, you may conduct internet searches if you find that more productive and useful.

2. Who wrote the article and what are their credentials? As in, is the author a professor, medical doctor, social worker, journalist, or sociologist? Where is he or she employed? 

3. What topic does your article address?

4. Give a brief (one to two paragraphs) summary of your article. 

5. Would your author(s) say that poverty is a problem of persons, places, power, resources, political economy, or markets? 

6. Did you find the article convincing? What are two reasons why or why not?
