Paper: Topic of Interest
Students will prepare and present a comprehensive report on a topic of interest in Developmental Psychology. The presentations should be in the form of a term paper in which the student provides a thorough, comprehensive report on the topic.

About the paper:

1. There should be written in APA style. It should have a cover page and a reference page. Students should use 12-point font.
2. The paper should be a minimum of seven pages in length.
3. Information from a minimum of eight scholarly research articles should beincorporated into the presentation.
4. Students should remember that this is intended to be a scholarly and comprehensivereport on the topic that demonstrates student expertise on the topic.

should be constructed to reflect scholarly thinking and scholarly communication of the topic rather than a lay perspective. The presentation should be of a quality that it could be placed in a student portfolio of academic work.

The presentations will be graded based on the degree to which mastery of the material is demonstrated through the following criteria:

1. Depth and detail of information.
2. Demonstration of critical thinking about the material beyond a summary.
3. Investigation of the topic beyond the information presented in the book andlectures.
4. Thorough presentation of research literature on the topic with particular emphasison and presentation of a minimum of eight research articles.
