Unit I Scholarly Activity For this course, you will be required to complete a research paper that will have a rough draft due in Unit V and a final version due in Unit VII. You will also be required to choose a topic of interest and research how the study of attitudes is applied within this area. Your research paper will contain at least three peer-reviewed articles as well as information to be learned in the units ahead. Articles chosen for this paper should apply directly to attitude research and your topic. To begin this assignment, you will first need to select and identify a topic that you will use to write a research paper throughout this course. Next, you will need to address the following concepts: define the term attitude, discuss the chosen topic and how it relates to attitude and attitude change, explain how attitude affects decision-making in your life and the lives of those around you, explain how research in your topic has affected attitude psychology, and discuss any anticipated issues that may arise from choosing this topic. For example, it may be difficult to find research, or your topic may need to be narrowed. Your scholarly activity must be at least two pages in length, not counting the title and reference pages. Remember, you must follow APA style.
