However, successful health care organizations do find a way to identify the right people, select them, hire them, onboard them, and retain them over time.

As a director of human resources for your own hospital, how will you plan for successful recruitment and retention of staff? What will be the key elements of your plan? Create a recruitment and retention plan. In your plan, please describe:

the process for budgeting,

recruitment, and

selection and hiring of staff members.

Finally, explain how effective onboarding improves staff retention and reduces overall costs.
