The Fiction Exam

Description

Choose one of the options below and write at least 2-pages double spaced that address the prompt in some way. However, the number of pages you write really depends on how you utilize the pages for whatever creative means you decide to do. For each prompt, please use at least three quotes in your writing. You can embed your quotes into the creative writing in any way you want.  Choose a story that you like the most or that you found particularly fascinating. Reread the story a few times. Then REWRITE the story by writing your own version of the story. The sky is the limit on how you’d want to do this. You are welcome to change the story completely. You are welcome to modernize it. You are welcome to make yourself as one of the characters. You are welcome to switch the genders or the race. Whatever and however you would do this is up to you. This is your opportunity to try to write your own story using the story you choose from the fiction packet as a model that you can rewrite or adapt or completely change in whatever way you see fit.
