Lab Project Report instructions are below. I've attached in attachment the topic with the result which you need to use.

Goal of this report – to summarize your experiment in a more concise and complete way. Think of it as telling a story of what you did and what you found in your study.

Instructions – write a paper based on your project planner sections. Double spaced, 12 pt. font.

This paper will consist of four sections:

1. Introduction: This section introduces the reader to the topic you are studying. You have already written an introduction (may need some refining) in the “identify a gap” section of the planner.

b. talk about the previous studies you based your work off of (you cited these in the beginning)

c. talk about the gap (what knowledge is missing)

d. If you had a hypothesis, state it towards the end of this section

e. In a sentence or two, state what your study shows “this study shows that treatment with chemical X is toxic to potatoes”

2. Methods/procedures: This section details exactly how you did everything. You don’t need to include step by step procedures, but you do need to explain what you did in a detailed way so that anyone could follow what you did.

3. Results and Analysis: You just wrote this section in your planner, simply state what you found in your study (no discussion of the experiment here, only results) and the tables/ figures of your choosing. Remember, if you include a table or figure your text must refer to it. You do not need to include everything, only the core data that aligns with the story you are telling. For example, you may want to only display averages. DO NOT include a bunch of pointless data.

4. Conclusion/discussion: This is the section you last turned in with the project planner.

a. What can you conclude from your results?

b. How does this relate to your original hypothesis or what you thought you would see?

c. Why did your experiment not go according to plan?

d. What would you do different if you did the experiment again?

e. Think about the questions listed in the project planner “conclusion” section
