New laws are regularly passed at both the federal and state levels. Decide on a law that you believe is needed in the business arena.

Provide support for the proposed law explaining why it is needed. Be as detailed as possible. In addition to providing support as to why the law is needed, you should discuss what groups or types of individuals are likely to support the law and what groups or types of individuals are likely to be against the law. Discuss also whether the law will result in any expense to government entities or citizens. You should cite at least five respected references in support of your paper, and you should follow APA guidelines.

You should also draft the law you choose. In your drafting, be sure to be detailed and specific; and provide definitions for any words that might be subject to different interpretations.

The paper, including the draft of the law, should be from six to seven pages in length not counting the “References” page. The paper should be double-spaced with standard one-inch margins.
