Minor Project 2: The Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Using the Lencioni textbook and other readings, write a 6-8 page paper in the APA format that demonstrates your understanding of the five pitfalls of most teams and the interrelated model that they comprise. To do this pick an organization, group or team that you have been or are a part of as an example and identify any dysfunctions from the model that are present and compare and contrast the behaviors of unhealthy versus healthy teams for that level. For each level, Lencioni identifies the role of the leader in overcoming that pitfall. Using other materials, expand on that discussion of leader behaviors related to overcoming that dysfunction and overall team effectiveness.

You should have at least five sources (your textbook and four others) that include scholarly journals and other unassigned material.

Don’t forget to include biblical integration by citing a specific scripture verse in your paper.

Your paper should conform to the APA format with a cover page, headings for your introduction, main discussion points, and conclusion section or paragraph in the main body of your paper, and include a separate reference page. An abstract is not necessary for a paper of this size. Your cover page and the reference page are not included in your required page count.
