Module 7-Explore

1. Plan your interview questions in advance.
   1. Write at least five questions related to the problem you selected prior to the interview.
2. Select the title above to post your questions to the Explore –  Module 7 Data Collection discussion board. 
3. Conduct an interview using your-chosen method. During the interview complete the following:
   1. Take and transcribe interview notes.
   2. List the questions you asked.
4. Using the information gathered during the interview, create a personal summary and critique of the interview.

1. Think about what additional data you can collect to better answer your question. Choose one of the following examples of data sources:
   • People (e.g. teachers, administrators, students, parents, staffs, etc.)
     • Survey
     • Interviews – individual or focus group
   • Observations (teaching or learning practices, curricular programs, learnign environments, etc.)
     • participants or non-participant observations
   •  Documents 
     • Logs of meetings
     • Field notes
     • Self-assessment journal
     • Checklist
     • Samples of student work, projects, performances
2. Collect the additional data through your chosen method.
3. Write a paragraph how you collected the data.
