Public Health Issues are prevalent throughout the United States and worldwide. These
issues can be associated with epidemics and the spread of disease, environmental
disasters, community health care delivery, personal health behaviors, etc. The purpose
of the assignment is to understand a public health issues and suggest a solution to
remedy the problem.The summary should be 2-3 pages (minimum) or a maximum of 5 pages , double
spaced, 1” borders, size 12 font. Note: A 10 point/day deduction will apply to all late
papers.

The student could select any current public health event or ongoing health problem from
a professional & reputable publication. Examples are:
 Daily publications
 Weekly publications
 Professional and reputable health related websites
 Public Health professional Journals and Publications
 Other reputable sources, sites, and professional journals
Fact sheets are not acceptable sources for the current summary paper The chosen
topics/publications must be current (2021). Students must site the sources of the
information and reference the selected article in addition to other sources. (2-3).
