            B.        Discusswhy this artist’s work interested you.

Ten Principles:

Balance, Contrast, Emphasis, FocalPoint, Pattern, Proportion, Rhythm, Scale, Unity, Variety

                                    (2)       What symbolism or iconography are used tocreate a dialogue within the piece? What does the piece say to you the viewer and how can you supportthis analysis? (Use your personal background and experiences to support youropinions.) Consider the time the piece was made; what could it have said to thegeneral audience of the time?
