Your task is to prepare a brief analysis of some portion of this data.  Specifically, I want to assess your ability to solve problems and communicate your results.  You may select any variable(s) you wish to examine from one of the data sets above (your choice). You are to provide:

• a frequency distribution or contingency table of the key of the key variable(s) you wish to analyze along with at least one graphical display and offer a narrative description of your findings,
• for that key variable/those key variables, report on the appropriate measures of central tendency and variation,
• develop a hypothesis about that variable/those variables and conduct a formal hypothesis test, showing all the steps you took and the conclusions you made, and
• add a paragraph reflecting on your comfort approaching and completing this assignment.

For each of the four items above, your narrative answers should be at least 3 sentences and 50 words long.  Your work should use language, grammar and spelling appropriate for a professional report (avoiding acronyms).  See the grading rubric below.

• Create a frequency or contingency table for your data.  (4 points)

      Provide at least one appropriate and accurate graphical display.  (4 points)

      Provide a well-written description of your findings from the table and graphical display.  (4 points)

• Generate appropriate measures of central tendency and variation for that variable/those variables.  (4 points)

      Interpret your results for these measures.   (4 points)

• Develop a hypothesis about that variable/those variables and conduct a formal hypothesis test, showing all the steps you took.  (9 points)

      Interpret your results and provide your conclusions.  (4 points)

• Write a paragraph reflecting on your comfort approaching and completing this assignment.  (4 points)
