Nursing Project Proposal
1. PLEASE READ RUBRIC & TASK NOTES ATTACHED- The rubric and task MUST be followed exactly. No deviation!! PLEASE READ BOTH!!!!
2. Also attached is the templete with notes.
3. From Rubric SECTIONS A and B Do not need to be done. That is something I only have to address. So start with section C.
4. Project must be APA 7 format.
5. ALL References must be within the last 5 years. Between date range 2017-2021. Resources must have a retrievable link and from credible sources. Scholarly, peer-reviewed.
See below for the ideas for some sections….

Section C.1. – the problem at UF Health Jacksonville, Florida Medical-Surgical Unit is insufficient nurse to nurse communication d/t Not doing bedside report, not having a standardized reporting tool (example- SBAR) to do report with. Which causes critical information to be missed, cause never events, adverse events, the patient is ill-informed on their care d/t the lack of communication process,

Section F requires 7 Sources……

G4. Idea would be- Kurt Lewin’s change theory model.

Resources must be from a credible sites, less than 5 years old, and retrievable by link. Between date range 2017-2021. Resources must have a retrievable link and from credible sources. Scholarly, peer-reviewed.

G5. This is the barriers- ONE MUST BE —The COVID pandemic. The other could be the nurse’s receptiveness to the proposed change or new practices, lack of education on how to perform Bedside shift report or how to use a SBAR for those reports, insufficient funds to educate staff, ext……. but only 2 are required.
