General guidelines

1.Your performance in this project will be judged according to several factors (see the next paragraph).

2.The report should be written according to the scientific format(for example, Harvard style).

3.The report should not exceed 10-12pages;however, some illustrative materials if necessary can be attached in appendix(s). Judgement factors

•Clarity of writing

•Building on, and relevance to the body of knowledge (relevant scientific references should be used).

•Problem description/construction and depth.

•Connection theory-practice

•Analysis and quality of argument

•Practical implications

•Final conclusions

•Use Minitab software for any kind of data analysis.

Project DescriptionWorking in groups(3 studentsin each group), each group is encouraged to contact a companyor collect data from internet.You are suggested to describe and analyze the “case data” based on thetheory and method discussed in the Quality Controlcourse. An example of the report structure is given in the next page.You are expected to use and implement as much as needed and applicable of the tools and methods studied inthe course.
