Risk Management research

The purpose of this assignment is to help familiarize you with the world of project management. Students will conduct research in the area of project management
Minimum of 10 references (5 should be peer-reviewed journal articles).
Research must be comprehensive and show clear flow.

Focus: ANALYSIS and “compare, contrast and recommend” approach.
Your findings should be aimed at a client organization and provide clear recommendations to them as to how they can improve their project management practices in the given area (Risk management ).
Research needs to include specific examples of projects (e.g. case studies) in the context of your research. Please select your articles accordingly.

The focus of the research is on ANALYSIS. This is in sharp contrast with DESCRIPTION – where you would sequentially go through a list of articles one by one and write their findings perhaps pulling tables and figures from the articles.

To show ANALYSIS, you can create your own tables to compare findings from various sources, create your own figures to illustrate you thought about the material you read and arrived at your own conclusions. In short, it will be your analysis of the topic that matters (as opposed to a simple description of what you’ve read).
